Eagle Aerospace Ltd. is a dynamic organization within the Team Eagle group of Companies seeking to continue to grow and scale in the aerospace sector and specifically, continue to support safe and efficient global airfield maintenance. To help facilitate this growth, Eagle Aerospace is searching for a seasoned, capable, passionate and driven leader.

The "Chief Operating and Technology Officer" (COTO) is a senior executive position that combines the responsibilities of a Chief Operating Officer (COO), overseeing day-to-day technology related business operations, with the responsibilities of a Chief Technology Officer (CTO), managing the company's technology strategy and infrastructure, essentially leading both the operational and technological aspects of the company to align them strategically and drive efficiency. Reporting to the Team Eagle Companies’ CEO/COB, the COTO will work closely with the executive team to formulate strategies that enhance productivity, streamline operations, and leverage technology for competitive advantage and industry benefit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Leadership:

    • Overseeing all aspects of daily business operations, including marketing, sales, production, logistics and customer service.

    • Setting operational goals, monitoring performance metrics, and implementing process improvements. 

    • Managing operational budgets and resource allocation. 

    • Leading cross-functional teams across different departments to ensure smooth operations and project execution.

    • Reporting to CEO/COB and working with the Board of Directors as required

 

  • Technology Leadership:

    • Contributing to and executing a comprehensive technology strategy aligned with Board of Directors, Advisory Board and CEO/COB business objectives. 

    • Managing the technology infrastructure and engineering, including hardware, software, networks, and data security. 

    • Overseeing the implementation and maintenance of new technologies, including both internal development as well as advancement through an extensive partnership network (build, partner and or integrate decision making)

    • Identifying and evaluating emerging technologies to drive innovation. 

 

  • Strategic Alignment:

    • Bridging the gap between business needs and technology capabilities. 

    • Collaborating with other C-suite executives to ensure technology investments support strategic goals across the Corporate entities

    • Identifying opportunities to leverage technology to improve operational efficiency and customer experience. 

 

Required Skills and Experiences:

  • Business Acumen:

    • Strong understanding of business operations, marketing, sales, financial management, and strategic planning at a senior level (10+ years)

    • Technical Expertise:

    • Deep knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud computing, software development, and emerging technologies including AI (10+ years)

  • Leadership Skills:

    • Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, manage complex projects, drive change and stay on budget (10+ years)

  • Communication Skills:

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels including industry presentations and collaborations

  • Analytical Skills:

    • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and both recommend and make informed decisions. 

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

    • Master’s degree is preferred.

  • 10+ years of experience in senior operational and/or technology leadership roles.

    • Minimum 5 years proven C-Suite experience

  • Proven track record of driving operational efficiency and implementing strategic technology initiatives.

  • Strong understanding of business operations, digital transformation, and emerging technologies.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
